From my experience, completing a summer internship was the key to unlocking the path to a successful graduate career. However, there are many hurdles to cross to get to this stage. Distractions easily tempt students away from concentrating on their studies. We know the story all too well. They start off searching the internet for something relevant…and they end up checking facebook or watching you tube videos. They get up from their desks to get a drink…and end up chatting with their friends. They check the time on their phones.. and end up texting their other friends. It’s too easy of a trap to fall into!
